Sedation Options
You can begin your treatment in complete relaxation by selecting from our sedation options. We offer the traditional nitrous oxide gas, but we also offer oral conscious sedation (a pill prescription) for patients who need a slightly deeper level of sedation.
If that’s not enough, you don’t need to worry. We are one of few dental offices in the area that is licensed to offer I.V. sedation. The I.V. allows you to get a continuous flow of medication that is easily controlled while you are being treated. This is perfect for patients with severe to extreme fear.
Needle-Free Numbing : The Wand
Many, many patients fear the numbing procedure for one simple reason: the needle. Syringes create a deeply pitted fear for many people, which is one reason why we have decided to move away from needles in our application of numbing solutions.
Instead, we use the Wand, which is a tool that puts the numbing solution along the surface of the gums. You won’t feel any pain but will soon enjoy the numbness of comfortable gums! This is great for patients who have sensitive gums or those who have to have numbing solution for every cleaning.
Laser-Assisted Fillings
Hate the dental drill? You’re not the only one! To ease the discomfort that comes with the sounds and smells of the drill, we offer laser cavity removal! You won’t feel any discomfort as we remove decay and fill cavities in your teeth.
